We all lead a hectic and busy lifestyle. But do you realise that some people around you are able to handle everything that comes along their life with a breeze and yet seem to do so in a laid-back manner? This is while most of us are struggling to make ends meet.
Have you wondered what is their secret? Why are they able to be stress-free, ready to go and have everything at their finger tips? Here are tips to do so:
Tip 1: Kick the tasks off our brain
Kick the tasks out of our brain and plan to do it. We often have millions of "to-do" items, task, or ideas on our head and spend time procrastinating to act on them. Instead of using brain power to remember them, we should kick the items off on paper and use our brain cells in a more productive way. Writing these items down not only helps you to clear the mind, and is also a step closer to working on the task.
Tip 2: Organise a time schedule
Jumping straight into the work without prioritising is an ineffective way to do work. The proven and effective way is to prioritise and organise your time well. Divide your working hours into slots- for example, 20 minutes to clear emails, two hours to produce the presentation slides required for a project. Prioritise your work by focusing on the important and urgent things to do in the morning. This can be followed by items which are less important and easier to complete. This will make your work seemingly easier at the same time.
Tip 3: Leverage on other's time
Leveraging on other's time to achieve your objective is a powerful tactic, if used well. This is different from making us of others. Leveraging on other's time means empowering employees or co-workers or even outsourced workers to do the job for you. But of course, you would need to think about what it is the "catch" for them to do so.
Tip 4: Reward yourself
Do not be daunted by the pressure of completing a massive project. It may seem like a daunting hill to climb, but it will not be if you break down the work into "manageable portions" to work on. Pace yourself and celebrate small wins at every milestone. Upon finishing the massive project, give yourself a pat on the back and reward yourself with a big reward.
Tip 5: Set some personal time
One of the common aspects overlooked by most Americans is that they do not stop to smell the roses, despite a highly hectic lifestyle. Plan and set aside time (recommended 15-20mins) everyday to relax and do something you find enjoyable. Forget about checking on emails, or asking calls related to work. This is the time for you to just recharge yourself. You will come to work energised and productive after the breaks.
Tip 6: Leverage on technology
Most would agree that technology is a double-edged sword. Use them to your advantage by leveraging to do planning, simple task management, and for information sharing. In order to not get caught in the rat race of using more technology, keep it simple to a task manager that can meet your needs and suits you.
Tip 7: Keep Growing
The world is so dynamic and fluid these days. One should never stop learning and if we do, we are risking our ability to produce good work. Always value-add to yourself development by experimenting with new things, reading, and acquiring new knowledge. To maximise on productivity, leverage on the time spent travelling to work, during workouts or even waiting to read.
Tip 8: Kill away all distractions
This is the most powerful tip among all. Our life is cluttered with so many distractions that makes productivity seems impossible. Make a resolution to improve on things today, because procrastination does not help, but will only make our life less productivity.

Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.Chanakya
It is Monday again. The sun is sleeping and it feels like bed
weather. But you cannot snuggle inside your blanket. It is Monday, the start of
your work day. Here are three things to ponder to make you productive today and
the whole week.
. 1. Why am I doing it?
The key in answering this question is finding the reasons
why you are doing this task. Always go beyond what your eyes can see. Because
adding value to your organization is more than doing bigger tasks. Oftentimes
it is the routine tasks that we do that produces a lot of values to your
organization.
Take for example, the telephone operator. If she will not
attend the calls and forward it to the proper personnel there could be a
service breakdown or an emergency waiting to transform into a disaster for your
company.
2. What the results might be?
We have a standing policy in the office, things you cannot
measure you cannot achieve. Only measurable things can be achieved. So it is a
must that you have clear goals that you are set to accomplish. A scorecard is
the answer. Also, who on earth does not love turning work into a game where you
keep scores of your effort. This makes business a game of fun. It allows you to
excel and be at your best.
3. Will I Be Successful?
If you can answer the first two questions it is impossible not
be successful. The deeper meaning and the measurable goals assures you that you
can find the end of the tunnel. There is no vagueness to what you do.
Most importantly, no matter what the weather outside it will
not affect you because you know what is the job to be done in a deeper sense of
it.
Have a happy and excellent weekday!

Are you getting tired of working at only 50% efficiency? This list of quick tips, optimizations and productivity strategies will get you working at 100% power in no time.
Read them, apply them, and watch as your work output improves, your time input decreases, and your lifestyle shoots right up dramatically. Let's go:
Personal Productivity Tip #1: Micro-test your work times.
Do you often find that you're more efficient and productive in the mornings? Shape your work day around those times.
For example, spent a week or two working with different day times for your major workload, and see which one produces the best results. After the quick test period, shape your workday around those peak times and watch your results increase.
Personal Productivity Tip #2: Remind yourself to work.
This can be as simple as posting a message on your laptop screen or setting a new desktop wallpaper.
Get an inspirational quote, a personal message, or even just a text file saying "get more done." These changes aren't huge, but they'll teach you how to improve personal productivity like no other.
Personal Productivity Tip #3: Limit and restrict yourself.
Are you often tempted to waste time on irrelevant websites? Use a Firefox plug in (Leechblock is one of the best) to make sure that you don't waste any more time on websites that aren't directly related to your work output.
Personal Productivity Tip #4: Don't look for optimizations, look for major changes.
What major problems are sucking up most of your work time and minimizing the amount of time that you can spend on your workload? For many, the things that waste the most time aren't the things that are easiest to change.
Spend a couple of weeks working on the big changes, and then use the small optimizations to improve your stable work platform.
By applying these quick tips, you'll learn how to improve personal productivity, boost your work output, and enjoy a lifestyle that isn't 100% dominated by work.
*Important Note* => We only have 24 hours a day. How do we achieve greater productivity? Here's how.
What you see here is just the tip of the iceberg. You are about to get more things done - in less time - as we reveal the secrets of power productivity strategies here...

You ought to make ultimate use of your time. Obviously you believe in "Time is Money", so you shouldn't waste your money. In other words, you won't like if your money is being wasted by others. Will you? So for this matter, you need to be more concentrated towards all important things you got to do. You should make the most of your time by working in a smart way. You should win your battles against whatever time you think you have already wasted. You've got to take risks, need to go against the rule and make something productive out of it.
Following are some simple tips to help you make your work more productive:
1. Avoid answering unnecessary calls during your work hours!
Set time limits. You should spot the people who waste your time with continuous messaging, web surfing, phone calls or chit-chatting. Stay away from them, and try to limit your interaction with them to as less as you can. The minutes you spend talking to them distracting yourself can let you lose your precious hours and thus, you end up losing productivity. Therefore, you should make it a point to end your conversations at proper time with polite replies. When you really need to get something done, make yourself unavailable. You should set a proper schedule in which following should be included:
- No unnecessary e-mails.
- No visitors.
- It is all okay if you want to work with complete privacy.
- No calls or texts.
2. Prioritize your tasks
Set your priorities right! What is more important? Prioritize your tasks based on return on investment. It's all your choice, make calendars for weeks or months if you like schedules, or you can even create a priority lists on daily basis, that will help you set your priorities right and achieve your deadlines on time. This will help you meet your goals, and will also help you to improve your concentration on things at your workplace helping you to become the upcoming star in your office.
3. Clear out the clutter
Yes, all of us know that this is such a boring thing to do. You will opt to die instead of cleaning your desk. I know it's one of the tedious works to do, but you need to be organized. Keeping your surroundings and desk clean will make your atmosphere livelier. This will also improve your status at your workplace as everyone will come to know how efficiently you work and why are you so successful. You need to get rid of things which are least important to you and keeping your desk clean will help you get things done much faster.
4. Make the most of your meetings
Make it a point to write agendas for meetings and attend the meeting only within the fixed time. There is a major productivity loss if you go late to the meetings and are not well prepared. Track all your appointments and reach before the beginning of the meetings. Make it a point to gain as much as you can in the group discussions and solve all your queries related to the targets.
5. Relax
Last but not the least, you ne-e-d to keep a few minutes aside from your daily schedule for yourself. Just close your eyes and relax in peace. Even a small session of meditation will help you ease your mind and body of stress.

Increasing productivity is something that most people struggle with, and that is why I am going to share with you some of my top productivity tips. I'll be honest and say that this is something that I seem to struggle with more than most. I want to share these tips because they have made a huge difference in increasing my productivity over the last few months since implementing them.
Let's be honest, if increasing our productivity was a simple as hitting a button on the keyboard, we would all be 7 figure income earners. The reality is that increasing productivity takes work, dedication, and commitment.
Productivity Tip #1
Tracking - This is one tip that will come up over and over again. Tracking is important because recording what we do is the most effective way to see where changes need to be made. Tracking our actions is a concrete way to see if you are actually being productive, or just busy. Another way to word this is, are you working on your business or are you working in your business?
For the best results, get a journal or notebook and record your days activities. You need to do this daily and consistently if you want it to be accurate. Make sure you are reviewing it regularly to see where you need to redirect your focus.
Productivity Tip #2
Reward System - It has been proven that "celebrating your victories" is an important step when you are making changes. Celebrating your victories not only helps to keep you on track and focused, it gives you a sense of accomplishment and keeps you focused on the positive gains you are making.
The best way to do this is to set up a "reward system" if you will. It's as simple as completing your pre-decided "productivity time" and BAM, you get your reward. Rewards can be anything just make sure it is something that you will want to work for!
Productivity Tip #3
Environment - Productivity tips come in many forms and this one comes in two. The first, is to make sure that your work area is organized and free from clutter. As they say, "A cluttered workspace is a cluttered mind." This also helps keep you focused on the tasks at hand, rather than getting caught up in "getting ready to get ready".
The second part of this tip is to take note of where you are most productive. For some, it's at their desk, others it's sitting on the couch and for others still, it's at a local coffee shop. It's often beneficial to choose certain locations for different kinds of focus. Not everything needs to be done at your desk. There is a lot of merit in changing your location, especially if you are having trouble getting into action.
Productivity Tip #4
Batching - This is one of the productivity tips that can be summed up in one word - LEVERAGE. The concept of "batching" was introduced to me by Tim Ferriss in 'The Four Hour Workweek'.
The idea is to take activities (banking, groceries, the gym, meetings, etc...) that you need to do and "batch" them all together to leverage your time. This way, you waste less time and far less energy on starting and stopping activities.
Productivity Tip #5
Schedule Distractions - This is another of Tim Ferriss' productivity tips. In his book 'The Four Hour Workweek', Tim explains the need for scheduling specific times to do the tasks such as checking email, Facebook, text messages, phone calls etc...as a method of increasing your productivity and freeing up time.
The reason why scheduling specific times to do these things is important, is because on average, people become far too distracted with mundane tasks like checking email (up to 50x/ day) and text messages (up to 70x/day), rather than focusing on income producing activities.
Another reason why this is important is because, on average, it takes up to 2 minutes to refocus on a task after an interruption. That is a lot of time, energy and will power wasted. Increasing productivity means focusing on completing the tasks at hand, not jumping from task to task. Multitasking is NOT effective!
Productivity Tip #6
Accountability Partner - This tip transcends productivity tips, it is widely accepted that to become successful, it is a great idea to have an accountability partner.
From a productivity point of view, having an accountability partner instantly makes what you are doing not just about you. All too often we put off what needs to be done and talk ourselves out of doing what we need to do. We often do this out of resistance and self sabotage, (a topic for another day...), but a funny thing happens when we introduce someone else into the mix. All of a sudden, we get into action because we don't want to let them down. When we make other people reliant on our deadline, we suddenly will do whatever it takes to get it finished on time.
Productivity Tips - Summary
Now that you have 6 new productivity tips, what changes do you need to make, and how much time are you going to allocate to being "productive"?
What if you could commit to 2 hours of high leveraging income producing activities and you did that just 3 times a week? Would that make a difference in your business? For most, this would not only make a HUGE difference, it would also take them from getting ordinary results to getting extraordinary results in their business.
