How do you see yourself and your surroundings?
Monday, December 11, 2017
It's the start of the week again - do you see yourself staring at the traffic, or having a good conversation with someone? Do you see yourself waiting for the day to end, or do something productive? Do you see yourself struggling with tasks or being challenged to achieve goals?
They say that how others see you depends on how you see yourself and your surroundings. For example, you take a look at achievers and why they are doing it: Are they doing it for the sake of getting the prize, or to just be recognized?
Think of it differently: Maybe they want to leave footprints in the sand. Maybe they want to fulfill their lives and then share it with their grandsons and granddaughters to inspire them? Yes, they are filling a gap for themselves; but what matters to them is to achieve something.
How do you see yourself and your surroundings? Do you not consider yourself as someone worthy for the task? If you look down at most situations, try thinking from a different perspective. In addition; sometimes, running away from your fears doesn't mean you give up on yourself. It's just that you wanted to take a break - and it's OK to take a break. Take a rest and wake up the next morning ready.
By the time you have read this, we hope we gave you a virtual tap on the shoulder and a slight push to move to kick-start the week. Happy Monday!
